Bard to Broadway Theatre Society
On behalf of the Bard to Broadway Theatre Society, I should like to thank you most sincerely, and to highly commend your Parksville staff regarding two recent interactions:
A ten-foot PUPS™ unit was contracted for a two-week period for B2B to store items for our recent fund-raising garage sale. The product proved to be very suitable for the intended purpose. At all times, Ms. Sherry Dance and Mr. Chris Linwall were polite, friendly, and helpful, and provided excellent service. They handled the transaction, delivery and pick-up in a timely and most professional manner.
Discussion also took place regarding the possible rental of a thirteen-foot PUPS™ unit for a 7-8 week period during the (2011) summer. This would have been used to store some of our theatrical materials - set pieces, furniture, and larger props. Shortly after the matter was first broached, it was brought to the B2B Board. Based on past previous experiences, the Board decided to initiate an inquiry with the Town of Qualicum Beach. On Friday May 20th, we were advised by the Town's By-Law Enforcement Officer that the placement of a PUPS™ unit in the parking lot adjacent to the theatre for that length of time would not be acceptable to the Town.
Please know how extremely grateful we are for your conspicuously generous offer to sponsor this potential rental in exchange for advertising in our printed summer programme. This type of in-kind support helps considerably to build community spirit and good will, and is a tremendous encouragement (in this particular case) to the Performing Arts in the Oceanside region.
Certainly I should be happy to recommend the Parksville PUPS™ staff, service and product to other clients with similar needs.
